Description

Ashi myin-Anawt myin Taung community conservation area is located in Ywa-ngam township of Shan state. It was proposed as a in 2020 as a protected area (community conservation area) due to its renowned trekking experiences of 2340 meters high Ashi myin-Anawt myin peak. With the permission of Shan State Governance, Ywangan Township, Government Admission committee, agricultural land management and Statistic Department, it was reported to establish Ashi myin-Anawt myin mountain as Nature Reserve.. The area is also one of the place where tree rhododendron (Rhododendron arboretum) and white rhododendron (Rhododendron cuffeanum) are found as well as cherry blossoms.

Natural Resources

The hill forest of Ash myin-Anawt myin mountain support rhododendrons (red and white) as well as cherry blossms. Also, it reportedly host medium sized cats, bears, muntjac, primates, and some bird species.
