The Myanmar Marine Biodiversity Atlas (Edition 1: December 2016) seeks to illustrate the current state of marine resources in Myanmar through spatial information and lay a foundation for future marine spatial planning and conservation activities. The maps presented detail Myanmar's physical marine environment, oceanography, marine habitats, biodiversity and fisheries, in addition to important human influences that will play a role in shaping the country's marine environment.

This document is the record of the Myanmar's plant species listed under IUCN Red List. The Family, Genus and Species names and Myanmar names of each plant species are listed with their IUCN status. The detail explanation of how IUCN Red List statuses are categorized is also documented.

This is a guidebook for 19 important coastal wetlands in Myanmar, providing detailed information of each site; conservation values including wetland dependent species, status of protection, protection criteria, threats and involvement of local community in conservation. The summary and status report of the coastal wetlands in Myanmar might help guide further activities in protecting coastal wetlands.

The Myanmar National Red List of threatened species contributes to the GEF funded "Strengthening Sustainability of Protected Area Management in Myanmar" project. To support the National Biodiversity Strategy Action Plan (2015-2020), Target 12 for commitment to prevent the extinction of known threatened species and improve their conservation status, the National Red List of some selected taxa has been produced. This report summarizes the assessment process and its results with detailed descriptions for some selected threatened species in Myanmar.

This document represents the Fifth National Report of Myanmar to the Convention in relation to the Decision X/10 adopted at the tenth meeting of the Conference of Parties to the CBD, held on 18-29 October 2010 in Nagoya, Japan. The report composed of three main parts: (1) the Status, Trends and Threats to the different types of Biodiversity in Myanmar, (2) the current degree of implementation of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP), and the achievements of mainstreaming biodiversity into relevant sectoral and cross-sectoral strategies, plans and programs ,and (3) examination of the linkages and contribution of Myanmar's NBSAP implementation towards the 2020 Aichi Biodiversity Targets and the 2015 Targets of the Millennium Development Goals.

This revised NBSAP utilize the available data and information to set target to preserve the species and habitats and influence decision making for multi-sectors biodiversity conservation activities. This version used the 20 Aichi Biodiversity Targets to structure the analysis. There are global and national targets and are designed to be specific and realistic for the 5-year period. This NBSAP will guide biodiversity conservation from 2015-2020 with the main goal of establishing a strategic planning framework, identify concrete actions and ensure effective management and conservation of Myanmar's diverse ecosystems, species, and natural resources.

The document is the compilation of over 600 papers and reports relating to the country's marine biodiversity and habitats. The gathered existing GIS data and marine habitats are used and to generate distribution maps for two marine habitats based on newly available satellite datasets. This document will help understand the current state of marine resources in Myanmar and inform future marine conservation activities.

The document list a checklist of the gymnosperms and angiosperms of the Southeast Asian country of Myanmar. There are 273 families, 2,371 genera, and over 11,800 species listed and updated from four previous editions dating back to 1912. The book list the Latin binomial, author, plant habit, distribution, and common Myanmar and English names for each species.

The IUCN Red List of Ecosystems (RLE) aims to support conservation in resource use and management decisions by identifying ecosystems most at risk of loss or collapse. Similar to the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, the outcome of an RLE assessment is a list of ecosystems and their status for a region. Because the RLE was developed to promote a consistent framework suitable for assessing and monitoring the status of ecosystems, it enables comparisons of collapse risk between countries, locations and ecosystem types.

The conservation of Myanmar's unique and diverse turtle fauna has a high priority and the Myanmar Forestry Department has long collaborated with the Myanmar Program of Wildlife Conservation Society and Turtle Survival Alliance. One outcome of this collaboration is this photographic identification guide to the freshwater turtles and tortoises of Myanmar. This photographic guide book is timely, and will prove a useful and essential book for those people working together to save Myanmar turtles from extinction. Customs and police personnel who work at border check points, field researchers, students, hobbyists, and the person who just wants to know more about Myanmar's turtles will all find it very useful.
