About the dataset

The document is the compilation of over 600 papers and reports relating to the country's marine biodiversity and habitats. The gathered existing GIS data and marine habitats are used and to generate distribution maps for two marine habitats based on newly available satellite datasets. This document will help understand the current state of marine resources in Myanmar and inform future marine conservation activities.
