Description

Bawi Pa Taung National Park is situated in Haka and Thantlang townships of Chin state and it was notified in 2019. It is one of the newly established protected areas among other proposed protected areas in Chin state which are Kanaydi National Park, Kyi Ye Yan National Park, Laythar Taung National Park, Mi-A-Pi National Park, Sarmunm National Park, Zeinmu National Park. The area might offer opportunities for trekking and bird watching.

Natural Resources

Evergreen forest and hill forest are observed in the National Park. Mammals, Birds and snake species are also inhabiting the area.
